When it comes to measuring the photometric performance of LED light sources, the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) has established a set of criteria that LED goniophotometers must adhere to in order to be considered compliant. The Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) publishes criteria that may be used to determine the angular distribution of luminous intensity and the color rendering qualities of LED lighting products.
