Colorimetric measurement for LED cob light with an integrating sphere

The term " colorimetric measurement " refers to the process of evaluating the color characteristics of LED lights, more especially LED COBs (Chip-On-Board). LED chip on boards are arrays of many LED chips that are put directly onto a substrate to create a single package. LED COBs are also known as LED arrays. Because the color of the light is such an essential factor in the overall quality and performance of the light source, it is imperative that LED COBs used in lighting applications undergo colorimetric analysis. The purpose of colorimetric measurement is to ascertain the color characteristics of the LED COB. Some of these characteristics are the chromaticity coordinates, color temperature, and color rendering index (CRI). A spectroradiometer coupled with an integrating sphere is the instrumentation of choice for carrying out the task of measuring the color of an LED COB . The spectroradiometer is what is used to measure the amount of light that is given out by the LED
