Evaluating decorative lights using a moving mirror goniophotometer is a little more complicated than testing flood lights, and it normally requires the processes that are outlined in the following paragraphs: In accordance with the instructions provided by the manufacturer, calibrate the goniophotometer once it has been properly installed. This may include positioning the measuring chamber, adjusting the measurement angles, and confirming the accuracy of the photometer or lux meter. Place the decorative light to be examined within the measuring chamber of the goniophotometer. Ensure that the light is placed firmly and that it is aligned with the rotation axis of the goniometer.
